Getz Pharma began its marketing and sales operations in Vietnam in 1999. For the last four years, Getz Pharma has been rated by IMS as one of the fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies in the country. Our average annual growth rate over the past three years is 90 percent, which is five times higher than the industry growth during this period.

Getz Pharma has strong brands in the Vietnam market that are marketed and promoted through highly skilled and passionate marketing and sales teams based throughout Vietnam, covering both the urban and rural population centers. Our business partner in Vietnam is Codupha Vietnam, which is one of the largest distributors in Vietnam.

Our marketing philosophy is to attain brand leadership in every molecule within three years of its launch. We have more than 17 brands in Vietnam in various therapeutic segments, of which seven brands are leading their respective categories. We have a strong presence in gastroenterology, hepatology, cardiovascular, diabetology, infectious diseases, rheumatology and pulmonology. In the treatment of Hepatitis C, we lead the market with more than 60 percent market share through our two leading brands: Uniferon (Interferon Alfa 2b) and Ribazole (Ribavirin).

We continuously strive to provide new and innovative treatment options to improve patients' health by introducing new and innovative molecules. Getz Pharma was the first company to introduce Montelukast (anti-asthma), Candesartan (anti-hypertensive) and Ezetimibe (cholesterol control) in Vietnam, prior to which treatment options were limited to older therapies.

Our regulatory team in Vietnam possesses an in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements as prescribed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health. This enables Getz Pharma to produce and submit high quality dossiers that comply with updated guidelines, and ensures the registration of products in the shortest possible time.
